About This Instrument
The DCM 2250 TR is a True-RMS digital clamp multimeter measuring AC current up to 1000 A across four ranges (6 A, 60 A, 600 A, 1000 A), along with AC/DC voltage, low-impedance ACV (Low Z), and resistance. This model measures AC current only — DC current measurement is not available on the DCM 2250 TR (see DCM 5410 TR for AC/DC current capability). Features include non-contact voltage (NCV) and live-wire test, 6000-count auto-ranging display, True-RMS measurement, data hold, MIN/MAX, backlight, torch, and auto power-off. Low-impedance ACV mode avoids false 'ghost voltage' readings on unloaded circuits. 40 mm jaw opening. Safety rated CAT III 600 V. Powered by 2 × AAA batteries. Weight: approx. 315 g.
