The Vartech MS 7221 is a high-accuracy 4½-digit V/mA process signal calibrator designed for calibrating and testing 4–20 mA current loop transmitters, PLCs and process control equipment. It sources and measures DC loop current from 0 to 24 mA with a very high accuracy of ±(0.015% + 4 digits) and 1 µA resolution, and handles DC voltage from 0 to 100 mV or 0 to 10 V with ±(0.02% + 2 digits) accuracy. The built-in 24 V loop supply enables simultaneous powering and current measurement of 2-wire transmitters — eliminating the need for an external power source during calibration. The MS 7221 provides exceptional stability and is suitable for instrumentation workshops, field calibration and process plant maintenance.
