The Vartech V 7221 B is a professional 5-digit source-and-measure loop calibrator for 4–20 mA process control loops. It sources DC current from 0 to 30 mA and simultaneously measures DC mA (±35 mA) and DCV (±35 V). In addition to DC step output, the instrument generates Sawtooth and Triangle wave signals useful for valve stroke testing and transmitter simulation. On/Off detection, Span mode, torch and backlight functions make it well suited for field commissioning and calibration work. Built-in input protection includes a 100 mA / 250 V fast fuse. Input common-mode rejection is better than 120 dB (50/60 Hz) and serial-mode rejection better than 60 dB.
