About This Instrument
The DET-2000 is a digital earth resistance tester measuring earth resistance and soil resistivity, with results shown on a 3½-digit LCD display. Four terminals (E1, P1, P2, E2) allow 3-terminal earth-resistance testing or 4-terminal soil-resistivity measurement. Housed in a rugged ABS body, hand-held with facility to convert to bench-top use. Rechargeable Ni-Cd cells are charged via the supplied charging cord (230 V, 50 Hz). Lo-Bat indicator on display. Accuracy: ±3% for 0–10% and 90–100% of range; ±1.5% for 10–90% of range (per IS: 9223/1979). Weight: 575 g. Dimensions: 172 × 98 × 38 mm. Note: the testing kit (spikes, wire, hammer) is an optional, separately priced accessory — it is not supplied standard.
