About This Instrument
The PSI-2 is a phase sequence indicator in a compact ABS moulded enclosure (96×96×45 mm), suitable for panel mounting or handheld use. It verifies the phase rotation (RYB or RBY) of a 3-phase AC supply before motors, generators, or other rotating equipment are energised — incorrect phase sequence causes reverse motor rotation, which can damage connected machinery or create safety hazards. The PSI-2 is more compact than the disc-rotating PSI-1 and is preferred where a smaller form factor is needed. Used by commissioning engineers, electrical contractors, panel builders, and industrial maintenance teams across India.
