About This Instrument
The Vartech V 2002+ is a dedicated mA Leakage Tester and Smart Clamp Meter combined — the only Vartech clamp meter engineered to measure earth leakage currents as low as 200 mA through its clamp jaw. Where standard clamp meters need 40 A or more before their readings are meaningful, the V 2002+ resolves from 600 mA, making it indispensable for earth fault investigation, RCD and ELCB verification, neutral current measurement and installation quality checks. DC current measurement, frequency and duty cycle up to 10 MHz, REL mode and a Type-C rechargeable battery complete its professional specification.

- mA-level clamp current measurement from 600 mA AC — the defining feature; resolves earth leakage, neutral imbalance and RCD test currents that are completely invisible on standard 400 A or 1000 A clamp meters
- REL (Relative) measurement — zero out background leakage current and display only the incremental change; essential for precise earth fault location in installations with background load current
- DC current measurement (6 A / 60 A) — measure solar panel strings, battery systems and DC distribution currents through the clamp jaw, not through the test leads
