About This Instrument
The DIT-5000 is a dedicated digital insulation tester testing insulation resistance at voltages up to 5000 V, with resistance measurement up to 200 GΩ. Auto-range operation, automatic zero calibration, and automatic polarity display simplify field use. A high-voltage LED indicator warns the operator when the output is live. Results are shown on a 3½-digit LCD (68 × 55 mm, 35 mm character height) with backlight. Also includes AC voltage measurement up to 750 V (secondary function — not a full multimeter). Powered by 6 × 1.5 V AA batteries (replaceable, not rechargeable). Accuracy is tiered by resistance range (see specifications). Dimensions: 218 × 122 × 75 mm. Weight: approx. 900 g. Supplied with test leads, batteries, user manual, and carrying box.
