About This Instrument
The CIE/444/MR is a multirange version of the hand-driven metal-body CIE/444 insulation tester, with a range selector switch providing multiple rated test voltages on one instrument. Unlike the standard CIE/444, the multirange series includes a continuity range as a standard built-in feature — not a chargeable add-on. Series MR-1 to MR-4 are available in the metal body (CIE/444/MR). Series MR-5 to MR-8 are wooden body (CIE/666/MR) only and are not available in this metal body configuration.
