About This Instrument
The CIE/666/MR is a multirange version of the hand-driven wooden-body CIE/666 insulation tester, with a range selector switch providing multiple rated test voltages on one instrument. Continuity range is built in as standard on all MR series. The wooden-body CIE/666/MR covers all eight MR series — MR-1 to MR-8 — including high-voltage series MR-5 to MR-8 (which are not available in the metal-body CIE/444/MR). MR-7 and MR-8 cover 5000 V across dual scales, providing the widest single-instrument voltage coverage in the hand-driven MR range.
